Finally! '97 vs Stoeger Settled!

Sage

Welp, I up and decided it was time to end this debate once an fur all. I was gonna find out which scattergun was fastest.

So I got out my Stoeger and I got out my '97 and went out back. I drew a line in the dirt and paced off 7 yards. I drew another line.

It took my guns an set em down real gentle like to avoid any dirt that might skew the results, stood back and yelled "Go." Nuthin. They just set there.

Then I realized my problem. These are guns. They won't start with just a go. So I went back to my basement, loaded up a couple a blanks fur my .32 S&W lemon squeezer and went back. "On yur mark, git set, POP." Nuthin.

Here am tryin to set the cowboy universe strait with real live scientifical evidence and these scatterguns go mule-headed on me. I figgur they need a little motivation so I give'm a little kick. Nuthin. I aim real good so neither has an advantage an kick jest as hard as I kin. Well sir, they both moved about six inches and kinda dug their barrels in. Danged. I decided I'd really fix em. If a little fire didn't get em goin, nuthin would. By now you probably figgured it. The leather recoil pads tart ta burnin an I git some nasty singe marks on the butt stocks--but both of them just set thar.

Thar ya have it. Positive proof. Taint neither one faster'n thuther.

Iff'n ya want ta thank me jest come on over. I'll be the one with match'n pair of burnt .12 gauge.
