Central Indiana Model Railroad Club
Layout Tour
A while back Ken Larson visited our layout and the following are the photos he took. I thought his camera
was so cool, I traded a bunch of vitamins and got my own digital SLR. Eventually, I'll take my camera to the
club and take some pictures of my own. I'll post them when I get a round tuit.
Passenger Yard
When I joined the club in early 2005, I was told that everyone finds something that needs doing and tackles it.
I picked the plywood central station. The tracks were laid, but not nailed. What you see here is about 9 months
work. When I look back on it, I can see that most of the projects people take here are smaller in scope--with the exception of the
trolley line which, if I understand correctly, has been 15 years in the making.
Club Structures by Space Mouse
Part of what I have been doing for the club is building and/or restoring club structures. Some were just needing a little paint.
Of course, I've never been one to put on just a little paint.
Space Mouse's Club Motive Roster
I have a total of four engines that I run on the layout. Two are PRR transition era engines. The other two are
local current roster Buffalo and Pittsburgh engines.
