Features

Welcome to my Six-Gun Grips web page. What started little over a year ago as an attempt to compile a few pictures of guns and grips has grown and expanded beyond my wildest dreams. Turned to sort of a Cowboy Central. What you'll see here has been compiled with the help of the pards on the SASS Wire (The Society of Single Action Shooting's chat line).

Grips

From fine to Fancy and from Tack Drivers to Rust Buckets, you'll see all kinds of grips and guns. There's ivory, fake ivory, stag horn, bone, wood homemade, store bought, old, new, and custom. Don't be shy, add your own. Send me a picture and don't forget to tell me about the gun and the grips. I'll use your own words the best I can. Send it here.

Cool Photos

We've got smoke and fire and brimstone come from smokepoles, scatterguns, and hoglegs. We've got horses and wagons and cavalry. We've got old timers and young'uns. What we don't have is your pictures. Make sure they're interesting and high resolution. Include a description of the picture, who is in it, who took it and a description of the guns if it makes sense to do so.Send it here.

Photo Essays

What can I say. These pards make it look easy. They've got me inspired to make a a couple of grips (and start hacking on my Remmies.) What is the most requested photo essay? Checkering, of course. Email me and let's talk. Send it here.

Articles, Jokes and Links

The articles are great! (I can say that because I didn't write them.) We have shooting techniques from Mike Venturino, Black Powder by Doc Shapiro. We have slicking up techniques on Rugers, Rossis, Winchesters, Stogers, Stevens and more. We've got tips on reloading and getting all duded up. Send me one I don't have.

We've got the biggest collection of Cowboy Jokes on the net. Hands down (I checked and stole a few.) Know a good one?

Lots of Pards have sites as interesting as this one. Check them out and add yours.

Finally, I tried to put together a mercado of SASS sutlers. Selling stuff or fixing guns? Add yours.
